british slang for ‘stylish’, stüsh has been around since 2001. we started out as a furniture and home accessories design studio and have sinced transformed into a company that now includes designer stationery products.
stüsh's principle designer, Sonya JF Barnett, made her move into the 3D world of design after having been an Art Director for various design and magazine agencies around Toronto. her love of anything creative with a clever flair motivated her to design objects that not only looked good, but had some kind of functionality.
we are also available for design work, should you feel the need to stush up your own stuff. we can work with you to design paper products like custom cards or personal stationary, or even a website, if you want to. just give us a shout at sonya[at]stushstuff[dot]com.
in the last few years, stüsh has also been motivated to create with the environment in mind. gone are the days when being “green” meant that you wore leather sandles over socks and made crafts with granola. the new generation of green includes products that are socially and environmentally aware, at no cost to the integrity of design. it's no longer just a statement, but simply a way of life.
we want to ensure that our footprint on this planet – however stylish – remains small. stush products are now designed and produced with this in mind, and we ask that you reduce, reuse, recycle whenever possible.
